Hi, I’m Benjamin Hooper. I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and founder of Comal Wealth Management. I specialize in retirement and tax planning for those approaching retirement. I founded Comal Wealth Management in 2020 to help you save time, invest wisely, reduce taxes and retire successfully.

We are a fee-only, fiduciary, financial advisory firm serving New Braunfels, TX.
Prior to Comal Wealth Management, I spent 11 years working for USAA as a financial advisor and wealth manager. In 2013, I was one of the youngest advisors promoted to Wealth Manager in the company and was tasked with leading the Wealth Management offering in El Paso, TX. After 3 years in El Paso, I joined the Austin, TX Wealth Management team to serve the Central Texas community.
Previously, I earned my undergraduate degree in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University, which is widely considered the top program in the country. In addition, I earned my MBA from Colorado State University.
